Pick the next short activity when you want to give the whole class a change of pace.
Decide what being selected means before the first spin: sharing an example, reading a prompt, or choosing the next activity. Give students thinking time and a way to pass when appropriate.
Each listed entry has an equal chance. If two students share a name, use an agreed distinguishing label so the result is clear. A random picker chooses a turn; it does not measure participation or understanding.
Check the list and stage title before entering presentation mode. Sound is off by default. In Customize you can choose a short reveal or a longer spin, and the presentation button makes the stage easier to see from a distance.
Save a named collection for each class before removing winners. Load that collection to start again with the full list. On a shared computer, remove personal lists when you finish or use initials that suit your setting.
Use the classroom wheel to choose a volunteer, select a presentation order, or decide who shares an example next. Paste one name per line and check the list before the activity. Winner removal helps you work through the current list without selecting the same entry again.
Yes. This template starts with Remove winner after a pick enabled. The selected entry is removed when you dismiss the result. Duplicate labels are separate entries, so check for duplicates if each student should have one turn.
Use Bulk edit to paste one name per line, or import a TXT or CSV file. CSV import reads the first column, so remove a header row before importing. The wheel supports up to 1,000 entries.
The app keeps entries in this browser's local storage. It does not upload your class list or put it in the page URL. A downloaded collection contains the names you entered, and presentation mode shows names on screen.
This tool picks one entry at a time. It does not automatically split a class into balanced teams. You can use it to select the next speaker or work through a presentation order.
Let's Spin uses your browser’s cryptographic random number generator and avoids rounding bias when choosing an entry. Every nonempty entry has an equal chance. Duplicate labels count as separate entries. Colors, reveal styles, and animation duration do not affect the result.
Your entries, settings, and recent results stay in this browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded to a server or included in page links. Download a collection for a backup or to move it to another device; clearing browser data removes local collections.
