Run a five-minute icebreaker
For a small group, draw one question and invite everyone to answer it briefly. For a larger group, let pairs discuss the same prompt before inviting a few people to share. Agree on a short answer length so the activity fits your time.
A pass is always a valid response. Review the deck for your audience and remove questions that do not fit the occasion before sharing your screen.
Build a deck for your next meeting
Start with a twelve-question deck and replace a few prompts with questions relevant to the group. Keep each entry under the 120-character limit so the full question can be read easily. Save the edited deck as a named collection and download it if you want a backup.

A LITTLE HELP CHOOSING
An icebreaker generator you can make your own
Choose a deck for your group and reveal one question at a time. These are written starter questions selected at random; you can read the whole deck before using it and replace any prompt. Winner removal starts on so dismissed questions leave the active deck.
How to play
Review the Everyday icebreakers, Team meeting questions, or Student conversation starters deck below, then press its Use button.
Edit any question in Entries. Choose a short reveal in Customize if you want to keep the conversation moving.
Press Pick a card, invite an answer, and allow anyone to pass. Dismiss the result to remove that prompt before drawing another.
Good to know
How many icebreaker questions are included?
There are 36 written prompts across three decks of twelve: everyday conversation, team meetings, and students. One deck is active at a time. Use a deck's button to load its twelve questions.
Does this create new questions with AI?
No. It randomly selects a question from the active deck. You can review all the starter questions on this page and add your own prompts in Entries or Bulk edit.
Can I use it for a remote team meeting?
Yes. Load Team meeting questions, review the prompts, and share your screen using your meeting app. Presentation mode enlarges the stage. The picker itself does not connect to a meeting or collect answers.
Can I stop questions repeating?
Yes. This template starts with Remove winner after a pick on. Dismissing a result removes that question from the active deck. Use the deck's button again to reload all twelve prompts.
How are winners chosen?
Let's Spin uses your browser’s cryptographic random number generator and avoids rounding bias when choosing an entry. Every nonempty entry has an equal chance. Duplicate labels count as separate entries. Colors, reveal styles, and animation duration do not affect the result.
Where are my lists saved?
Your entries, settings, and recent results stay in this browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded to a server or included in page links. Download a collection for a backup or to move it to another device; clearing browser data removes local collections.
