Draw a name from a virtual hat
A lucky draw works well for classroom turns, team activities, and party prize reveals. The magic hat shuffles tickets, lottery balls mix in a globe, and the mystery box opens with a surprise. All three styles use the same random selection, so you can choose the reveal that suits your occasion.
How to play
- Add the names or prizes you want to include, one per entry.
- Pick Magic hat, Lottery balls, or Mystery box above the stage.
- Press Draw a winner. Use presentation mode for a crowd, or remove the winner before drawing again.
Good to know
Do the three reveal styles change the odds?
No. Each nonempty entry has the same chance in all three styles. The winner is chosen before the animation begins; the hat, balls, and box are different ways to reveal it.
Can I draw several winners from the same list?
Yes. Draw one winner at a time and enable Remove winner after a pick to avoid selecting the same entry again. Results history keeps your last 100 picks and can be downloaded as CSV.
How are winners chosen?
Let's Spin uses your browser’s cryptographic random number generator and avoids rounding bias when choosing an entry. Every nonempty entry has an equal chance. Duplicate labels count as separate entries. Colors, reveal styles, and animation duration do not affect the result.
Where are my lists saved?
Your entries, settings, and recent results stay in this browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded to a server or included in page links. Download a collection for a backup or to move it to another device; clearing browser data removes local collections.
