Yes or no

Two answers with an equal chance on every spin.

  • Yes
  • No

Yes, no, or maybe

Leave room to decide later. Each of the three answers has a one-in-three chance.

  • Yes
  • No
  • Maybe

Make the question easy to answer

Choose a question where both outcomes make sense. For example, ask “Shall we play another round?” and decide what Yes and No mean before spinning. For two named alternatives, replace the labels with the choices themselves, such as Walk and Read.

For a group, agree on the options together. A clear question and a single agreed spin make the result easier to use.

Repeated answers are part of randomness

A No does not make Yes due on the next spin. Each new selection starts with the current entries and the same odds. Keeping one of each label and leaving winner removal off preserves the 50/50 setup.

A LITTLE HELP CHOOSING

A yes or no spinner for everyday choices

Use this decision wheel for a small choice: trying a new game, taking a different walking route, or adding a bonus round to a quiz. Agree on the question before you spin. The wheel selects an answer at random; it does not know which option you would prefer.

How to play

  1. Start with the Yes and No entries, or use the Yes or no starter list to reset an edited wheel.
  2. Ask one clear question, then press Spin the wheel or Space.
  3. Read the answer and dismiss the result. Leave Remove winner after a pick off to keep both answers for the next spin.

Good to know

Is the yes or no wheel really 50/50?

With exactly one Yes and one No entry, each answer has a one-in-two chance on each spin. Repeated answers are possible. Adding a duplicate entry changes the odds for that label because each entry gets its own chance.

Can I add Maybe to the wheel?

Yes. Use the Yes, no, or maybe starter list below, or add Maybe in Entries. With one entry for each answer, Yes, No, and Maybe each have a one-in-three chance.

Can I ask a different question each time?

Yes. The question does not affect the selection. You can say it aloud or put a short question in Your stage title under Customize. Your edited wheel is saved in this browser.

How is this different from flipping a coin?

The two-entry wheel and a coin flip both give each option a 50% chance. The wheel displays the written answers and can be expanded to three or more choices; the coin flip always needs exactly two entries.

How are winners chosen?

Let's Spin uses your browser’s cryptographic random number generator and avoids rounding bias when choosing an entry. Every nonempty entry has an equal chance. Duplicate labels count as separate entries. Colors, reveal styles, and animation duration do not affect the result.

Where are my lists saved?

Your entries, settings, and recent results stay in this browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded to a server or included in page links. Download a collection for a backup or to move it to another device; clearing browser data removes local collections.
