Two possibilities, one coin toss
Use a coin flip when you have exactly two options. Start with Heads and Tails, or replace them with your own choices. The first entry belongs to one side and the second to the other. Each toss is independent, so the previous result does not make either side more likely next time.
How to play
- Keep Heads and Tails or enter exactly two choices.
- Choose a gold or silver finish and your animation duration in Customize.
- Press Flip the coin or Space, then read the winning side. Play again for another independent toss.
Good to know
Is the online coin flip 50/50?
Yes. With two entries, each has a one-in-two chance on every flip. A short sequence can still contain several identical results in a row.
Can I use custom labels instead of Heads and Tails?
Yes. Replace the two entries with any two options, such as pizza and sushi. Coin flip requires exactly two nonempty entries; use the wheel for a longer list.
How are winners chosen?
Let's Spin uses your browser’s cryptographic random number generator and avoids rounding bias when choosing an entry. Every nonempty entry has an equal chance. Duplicate labels count as separate entries. Colors, reveal styles, and animation duration do not affect the result.
Where are my lists saved?
Your entries, settings, and recent results stay in this browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded to a server or included in page links. Download a collection for a backup or to move it to another device; clearing browser data removes local collections.
